“One of  my Top 5 gigs – EVER!” (Promoter Nathan Michael)

Cua, are a trio of musicians / vocalists creating music inspired by world, folk, traditional, bluegrass and more, and we’re delighted to be welcoming them to our stunning church venue – this will sound immense in this amazing building!

John Davidson, Shane Booth and Ros O’Meara bring together dynamic and contrasting instrumentation and voices. The group have an expansive acoustic-based soundscape blending guitars, fiddle, bouzouki, percussion and three part harmony arrangements (that often sounds like more!) to create a folk styling that incorporates elements of music from the plains of Ireland to the mountains of Scotland and much farther afield.

“Three wonderful musicians who manage to sound like a 6 piece! Their tight 3 part harmonies are a complete joy – if Cua are not on your radar, then they should be!” (Folk Radio UK)

Firmly established as one of the most rewarding musical experiences, following seven years of touring, writing and recording, this trio continues to impress.

Following four visits to these shores from their base in Co. Laois, Ireland, the positive reviews continue to flow as the fan base grows.

“Irish folk music for the 21st Century!” (Americana UK)
