Away from the clamour and energy of The Winter Yards Band, Steve Knightley’s spring tour reveals a very different side to his music. Sanctuary – Songs in Sacred Spaces is a calm, immersive and contemplative series of performances created specifically for churches, chapels and historic venues. Drawing on influences from Bob Dylan to William Blake, from the English folk tradition to his own finely crafted compositions, Steve explores songs of history, landscape and human experience — material that resonates naturally in rooms shaped by centuries of song and prayer.

These concerts will be reflective, ambient and atmospheric, inviting audiences to listen more deeply in spaces where sound lingers and attention settles. Each evening also features special guest Dan Salvatore, whose hand-forged handpan brings a meditative, bell-like presence — an instrument designed to evoke harmony, balance and relaxation. Together, Steve and Dan create a unique sound world where poetry, melody and place converge, offering audiences a musical sanctuary at the start of spring.
This will sound stunning in this beautiful venue!
