“Killer bottleneck banjo, thumping kick drum and sweet wailing harmonies - some sort of bleached Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at their most twangy with the feisty attitude of June Carter!”

(Line Of Best Fit)

We’re very excited to welcome back Swedish sisters Greta, Stella and Suniva to the Square Tower, having sold out the venue completely last year and with a lengthy waiting list too! So to accommodate everyone we are presenting two shows on the same day! One afternoon show and one evening show!

The afternoon show will be an all-seated affair - and we are reducing capacity on this to just 80 tickets. The girls will be playing one longer set with no support. The evening show will be a mainly standing show, although we will be putting out some seats around the perimeter. There will be a support act for the evening show.

The self-styled “queens of banjo punk” have a foundation of roots music and Americana settled in their hearts and are famed for their brilliant live shows as well as their exceptionally crafted songs. The three sisters can’t recall when or why they started playing, the music’s always been there. In their late teens, the sisters joined forces with their dad, who for decades was a one man band playing old blues and country tunes for a living

“This is absurdly wonderful - these Stockholm sisters turn Americana on its head!”

(Mojo Magazine)

Their album releases to date have received great acclaim by the press and have been released in numerous countries. The releases in combination with relentless touring have given the band a reputation as one of the music scene’s most noticeable live acts.

Since the beginning, the sisters have guarded their independence, but when approached by Warner Music they felt intrigues to break their indie tradition and make their 4th album “Coyote & Sirens” on a major label - one of the few Swedish acts to get singed directly to a US major record company.

In 2015 they were invited to join Robbie Williams as opener and special guests on his arena tour throughout Europe. Later that year they also toured the US with Gary Clark Jr and Brandi Carlile.

“Sweden’s own wildwood flowers!”

(UNCUT Magazine)

2017 and 2018 were both equally busy with multiple international tours, including appearances at Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, Arroyo Seco, UtopiaFest and Bottlerock alongside artists like Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Alabama Shakes, Dr John, The Meters, The Avett Brothers and more.

And if you caught them last year, then you’ll know why they are so special, and you’ll be desperate to see them again!
