Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers (USA)

Starts in 1 Month, 8 Days

May 17, 2020

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, but for obvious reasons this show has now been cancelled. Those of you who bought tickets from We Got Tickets will have automatically received a refund by now.

If you bought physical tickets from a particular shop, you will be able to go back to that shop and get your refund. If you bought tickets at one of our shows then of course please just e-mail us if you’d like a refund.

If you’d like to support us by not claiming a refund then that would be awesome as it looks like we will have lost 3 months worth of shows and any non claimed refund will go towards paying out the monies we have lost in posters, flyers, deposits etc.

Thank you all so much,

Ken & The Team

We’re absolutely delighted to announce our first show of 2020 at the brilliant Studio @ The Petersfield School, and even more delighted that we’ll be presenting one of the UK dates on the 40th Anniversary tour of Gary Brewer and the Kentucky Ramblers – a family band that goes back 6 generations into their musical roots!

“Multiple Grand ‘Ole Opry Appearances!”

The entire Brewer clan has come by their musical talents honestly. They have true respect for their roots that reach back to the 1920s including third generation Brewer, Finley J. “Pap” Brewer Sr., performing with the Original Carter Family. Because of such a great love for music being passed down for generations, Gary is a strong traditionalist. He has toured alongside many Bluegrass music legends throughout his career. He esteems being the last person to have commercially recorded with the late and great Bill Monroe on his “Guitar” CD one of his best accomplishments (later resulting in a nomination for Guitar Player of the Year at the IBMAs).

“This boy right here is 100%bluegrass! he comes from good stock!” (Bill Monroe, Father Of Bluegrass)

During his music career, Gary has recorded for multiple major record labels, releasing 29 studio albums and a double live album. The bands most recent release “Vintage Country Revival” has bought great success charting at Number 1 on the Global Country Radio Charts and receiving 2 nominations in the 61st Grammy Awards (for Best Americana Album and Best American Roots performance).

Though he is a Bluegrass music veteran, Gary is the type that isn’t afraid to branch out to other genres. Gary has had chart-topping songs/CDs in Bluegrass as well as Americana, Old-time, Country, Gospel, and even Rock! Gary has been accredited as one of the only Bluegrass performers to record and have international radio chart success with Rock classic covers of Elvis, CCR, and Kansas!

“Bluegrass originals, Country music classics, foot-stomping Old-Time Mountain Music and good ‘ole Gospel hymns!”

Celebrating 40 years in the music business in the year 2020, Gary Brewer and the Kentucky Ramblers will be going on a 40-year Anniversary tour including the Bluegrass Standard cruise to Mexico, performing at the 50th Annual Dr. Ralph Stanley Hills of Home Festival, Poppy Mountain Bluegrass Festival, Bluegrass in the Hills, AND all the way over to the UK where we’re honoured to be hosting this awesome band!
