We’re delighted to say that one the UK’s most accomplished songwriters, the mega talent that is Robert Vincent, will be returning to Portsmouth and bringing his trio with him for a show in the beautiful St Lukes Church in Southsea.

“Robert has transcended that Americana genre and is now a singer / songwriter without actual musical barriers!” (Rocking Magpie)

The Liverpool singer/songwriter released his fourth studio album ‘Barriers’ in June 2024 to critical acclaim spending multiple weeks in the Country Music Charts nestled between Beyonce and Taylor Swift – but it was reaching the top 10 of both the Independent Album Chart and Record Store Chart that really gave Vincent reason to celebrate, with critics removing the constraints of category, declaring ‘he is now recognised as one of the UK’s best songwriters irrespective of genre’. (Americana UK)

Robert Vincent has toured extensively across the UK performing as both a solo artist and with his band. September 2024 saw Robert perform an official showcase at AmericanaFest in Nashville and the year culminated with an invitation to Robert Plant & his band Saving Grace, opening their shows in Antwerp, Paris and across the UK.

“If anyone has any lingering doubts about Robert Vincent’s standing as one of the best British songwriters then a listen to “Barriers” should banish those doubts forever! Definitely a contender for “Album Of The Year”! (Americana UK)

In 2020, Robert’s third LP, the critically-acclaimed ‘In This Town You’re Owned’, won the AMAUK’s ‘Album Of The Year’ award for 2021 and Robert himself awarded ‘Artist of The Year’.

And in 2025, the honours continued to flow:
AMAUK UK Song Of The Year Winner
AMAUK Artists Of The Year Nomination

This is going to sound mighty BIG in the church!
