Ags Connolly (Duo Show) support from Kate Harding
A traditional country artist who is widely considered to be one of the best singer-songwriters in the genre EVER to emerge from the UK. Ags’ songs have been lauded by country and non-country artists and fans alike in Europe, the U.S, Canada and beyond since his debut album emerged in 2014. He has shared stages with country music icons such as Rosanne Cash, Asleep At The Wheel, Dale Watson and many others, with the BBC’s Bob Harris saying “modern day traditionalism of the very, very best kind!”.
Support from Portsmouth’s very own Kate Harding.

Boot Heel Playboys with special guest Katy Hurt
The Boot Heel Playboys are a rare gem indeed! An authentic 8 piece Western Swing band from right here in the UK!
Comprised of well accomplished musicians, from various sub-genres under the Roots and Country umbrella, they combine with a passion to encapsulate the dancehall music of Texas, from the 30’s to the 50’s, in the style of it’s original pioneers – Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys, Tex Williams, Hank Thompson and more. Featuring pedal steel guitar, fiddle, piano, trumpet, upright bass, arch top guitars and drums their infectious, driving dance rhythms and soulful cowboy ballads have been wowing audiences across Europe in recent years.
Support comes from the incredible Americana force of nature that is Katy Hurt.
“For a fun time swingin’ and hoedownin’, look and listen no further than the Boot Heel Playboys – Western Swing at it’s finest!” (Hot Rod Hayride)

Hannah White
Every career path has different twists and turns, but there aren’t many in which someone who was a homeless single mother struggling for her very survival becomes one of the most revered singer-songwriters in roots music, and a 3 time UK Americana Award winner. In fact, there is one. Her name is Hannah White. At this years AMA Awards in London, in front of such dignitaries and fellow performers as Lyle Lovett and Candi Staton, Hannah won both UK Artist Of The Year, and UK Album Of The Year. She also won UK Song Of The Year with the arrestingly biographical “Car Crash”.
“The Amy Winehouse of UK Americana!” (Country People Magazine)
